I just got out as well. Good movie but I feel like I need to see it again. So much went on that I would like to see again to put it all together.

Dammitt. Now I'm all anxious. I knew I should have gone at 8.

My official review of Interstellar:
Critics aren't giving this one enough love. It lived up to the hype for me and then some. For me, this is easily Nolan's best film to date. I can't wait to see it again!

I absolutely have to see it again. Everyone is asking me how I thought it was.. and I just offer to send them vials of my melted brain.
That shite was intense and awesome.

Yes it was, people are going to ask me about it at work tomorrow and I'm just going to say go see it man. Words can't do it justice.

btw, do yourself a favor and don't google anything or read reviews.
I went in with an almost media blackout except for the trailers.
Holyyyyy shite.

Yeah. There's nothing else you can say other than to tell people to go see it.

Did this with Inception and Interstellar. It was tough , but I made it through and I'm glad I did.

I have to go see it again. Thinking about convincing my wife to go see it with me.
I am going home to Texas for Thanksgiving- may convince my old man to go too lol.
There is no way you can watch that movie once and get everything.
EDIT: I also wonder though- how real is the science? Because the discussions of singularity, relativity, 4th and 5th dimensions, etc was blowing my mind away. I felt like a dumb shite heh.

A lot of it is based off of theoretical physics from what I've been told.

They take some liberty with it. Like for instance, there's no way that 7 years would pass for every hour on the planet, since I don't think it was nearly close enough to the Black Hole to do it, especially when right outside of the orbit, time is passing normally. Not to mention that I think they'd have difficulty lifting the rovers off of the surface of those planets due to gravity, but they are really nitpicky details that don't matter and adding them makes a better story.

Spoilers I guess
My one real gripe was the fact that Dr Exposition (the black guy) had to break down every concept as if the audience was 5 years old. Even more so in the context of the movie, it bothered me because he was explaining these things to ENGINEERS like they're 5 years old. I get that not everybody in the audience knows what a wormhole is or know what time dilation is but the explanations were just too dumbed down and it was a bit cringe worthy. He didn't do that in the Prestige. He let the audience figure it out for themselves and I appreciated that.
Regardless, that's one minor gripe of what was a fantastic movie.

Well, yeah, I had no problem following the movie, since it all seemed pretty straight forward to me. Some of these reviewers were insisting it was so complicated that you'd have to have a degree in physics to understand what they were talking about, when really all you had to do was listen to them talk. They either weren't paying attention, or they're dumb. I was expecting it to get alot more complicated, but really the one major concept I think you have to grasp to understand this movie is that gravity warps time to varying degrees. I'll let this pass if it educates the general public on how science and space work.

I'm literally speechless after watching that movie
