Don't worry about him. He obviously can't get in in his head, no matter how much he dislikes DBZ, it's still a great anime. Frick his opinion.

Lest we forget, Mystic Gohan should have defeated Buu but he let his ego get the best of him again. I really wish they would have ended the series with Gohan defeating Buu and Goku basically passing the torch to him to be the protector.

It really should have ended with Gohan as the world protector. I was torn when he wanted to wear his dad's colors. I was like "Piccolo raised you and you disrespect him like that?" But it's his dad.

I guess so. I do enjoy watching Goku in Other World fighting/training. Especially seeing the old ancient warrior heroes of the past.
Goku + King Kai is always awesome. I'd gladly sign up to watch Goku spar with Pikkon and Olibu.

Bad animation, mediocre characters, and it went on for much too long and all they did was make the villains more and more powerful without logical explanation. It was just "Super Super Saiyan" or whatever. They just made it more powerful without logic. Plus I really didn't like that I could skip 18 episodes, still be on the same fight, and be caught up in a 30 second explanation. And their worst crime, they made death meaningless. If someone dies, no one gives a damn since the dragonballs simply revive someone. That's a horrible crime for a TV series to commit since it destroys the most dire threats.

Gohan always looked up to his dad, but Goku was always away so much for fighting he gravitated towards Piccolo for guidance. I think once Gohan matured and realized why his dad was gone all of the time to fight, he started to admire him for his tenacity and eventually chose to wear his dad's colors. I wish that him wearing Goku's outfit would be more symbolic of him being Earth's protector, but they saw fit to have him lose to Buu too.

I actually just got to this part in dragonball. He did, but so did Piccolo when he was training Gohan in preparation for the Saiyans. Is this just an inconsistency?
