I honestly hated Gohan until they made it to planet Namek.

Gohan was my favorite up until the Saiyaman shite. I loved how he was gentle and didn't want to fight, but if someone pissed him off he had retard strength. And when he was the first to turn SSJ2 and defeated cell I was all excited because he'd finally learned to harness anger and turn it into strength.. Then once he came back from training with Supreme Kai he was my favorite again.

I started watching during toonami and the cell saga so that was the first Gohan I knew. Once i went back and watched from the beginning I was all

I've been rewatching DB this last week. I Just watched this episode a couple nights ago. According to the dragonball wiki, Goku said that he would bring them back down after a year of making treats. What are the odds that Goku forgot about them, and they were still there when Piccolo blew up the moon?

I got the movie last night. Can't wait to watch it tonight.
I just watched Goku go super for the first time. It was my favorite scene in dbz for a long time.Second only to gohan going ssj2. Just like his dad. He could easily win but his ego gets the best of him and his opponent royally screws up his plans and people die.
Gohan is by far my favorite character of the show. Going back to fight freeza took serious balls.

To interrupt. I'm shocked this thread is 1/3 the length of ASOIAF thread. I just don't know what anyone ever saw in this show. Sorry, I just don't. Bad animation, mediocre characters, and it went on for much too long and all they did was make the villains more and more powerful without logical explanation. It was just "Super Super Saiyan" or whatever. They just made it more powerful without logic. Plus I really didn't like that I could skip 18 episodes, still be on the same fight, and be caught up in a 30 second explanation. And their worst crime, they made death meaningless. If someone dies, no one gives a damn since the dragonballs simply revive someone. That's a horrible crime for a TV series to commit since it destroys the most dire threats.

No one in this thread is. And I dont care about ASOIAF. At all. The books are 1000x better and the the show is just stupid sometimes. 18 is a bit of an exaggeration, alot of stuff happens in fights, like characters switching off, changing form, powering up, arriving, etc...

Multiple times in the series that is a real threat, plus dying and losing a fighter during a battle is a big deal. Finding, collecting, and using the dragon balls is not instant and cannot be done an infinite number of times.
