Naaa. Honestly, Darkseid got a bad matchup. Everything he does depends on organics/life, of which Mephisto is not (outside of the super-strength stuff). The two or three people who could have smashed Mephisto got pounded, including Blackheart.
It's as bad a matchup as Magneto vs. Vader. Just unfortunate. Now whether or not it's voted honestly... that's another question.

So when I brought this up before the tournament started and during round 2 no one says anything. Now in the elite 8 it finally gets focused on.

It's a bad matchup. The Omega beam is anti-life and all that good stuff.
Magneto is "God Tier" vs. Vader. It's not even a fight. It's a 2.8 second...*crunch* of Vader internals.

Thanos Beats Mephisto and he has. Blackheart CAN beat Mephisto. Black Adam had a better shot than Darkseid, just by virtue of being magical.
He isn't god tier, it's just a bad matchup. Darkseid against Apoc might have gone another way. Darkseid against Magneto certainly would have gone another way.
