The ~S2-S5 run is borderline perfect.

Also, as much as I've watched it over the years in syndication, it's a show that's still just about as funny to me now as it was back then.

I wish I had jumped on the show when it first aired (didn't watch it until S4 I think...the Dinner Party episode was my first, and I was hooked).

Honestly I don't think I will ever get as much enjoyment out of a comedic television series as I did out of The Office, especially season 2 which was as close to perfect as that kind of show can be.

The Client and the Carpet are my favorite of Season 2, with Casino Night being a great wrap-up to the season's growing Jim and Pam drama

I honestly don't even know how many times I have seen each of these episodes. I still watch a few each night before bed almost nightly.

I love The Dundies episode.

I don't even remember why I watched it, but I just sat down and that's the first one I watched and I was blown away.

The "Have fun paying for that with your zero dollars job plus benefits, babe!" argument had me rolling. Jan singing Hunter's song. Michael showing off his plasma (I hung it myself..") and then Jan breaking it. Pam and Jim's reactions to everything. I was just cracking up the entire episode, and I knew that if it was this funny with me not really knowing anything about the characters, it had to be hilarious once you watched from the beginning.

And it was. I went out the next day and bought S1-3 on DVD and watched them all over the weekend. Didn't miss an episode after that.

I thought Season 3 was the best

Especially the episode where Ed Truck dies, and the Oscar Gay Episode as well

Michael Scott: She threw a Dundee at my plasma tv.
Police officer: Do you want to press charges?
Michael Scott: Will she get in trouble?
Police officer: Yes. She'll be charged.
Michael Scott: I'll take the fall for this one.

Casino Night

Michael: Welkommen, Bienvenue, and welcome to Monte Carlo! Dwight. I am no longer your boss. Lady Fortune is your boss.
Stanley: [Under his breath] Will Lady Fortune give me a raise?
Michael: Shut it, shut it, shut it.

like ive said before, it had its lows and i mean lows, but no sitcom since Seinfeld can match what the office put out in its run between seasons 2 and 5. four straight seasons of television that would be any others shows best

Michael: I changed it to chili's.
Jan: excuse me?
Michael: Radisson just gives out this vibe. It's like "oh, I'm doing business at the Radisson". It's kinda snooty
Jan: you had no right to do that Michael
Michael: heres the thing, chili's is the new golf course. It's where business happens. Small business man magazine
Jan: it said that?
Michael: it will, I sent it in. Letter to the editor

I can watch The Client one over and over as well.

When Christian is telling his life story and is done and Michael just says "Ok Jan your turn, truth or dare"

Michael: Look. Dwight is a wuss. When we rented Armageddon, he cried at the end of it.
Dwight: Michael, I told you. That was because it was New Year's Eve, and it started to snow at exactly midnight.

That episode is great.

IMO, I'd put Seasons 2-3 up against any other show.

Thanks to iTunes, it was also the first time I've binged watched a show. It's probably what got me hooked on the show because you could pick up on the subtle, inside jokes.
