all I wanted was for the citizens to revolt and remove or kill the cult people. Then when it actually happened I was sad for her.

I still believe the cult was behind her death and she was alright with it. I keep going back to a preceding scene where she and the head cult lady were sitting in an office and with a simple nod of the head the doomed cult member got up and left. There was absolutely no context associated with that nod nor was there any context revealed during the scene when considered in its entirety. Yet, for some reason, they felt compelled to show the nod.

I agree - the head nod scene was too blatantly obvious.

After they stoned the shite out of her they stopped for a few brief seconds. They lady the began to talk and beg for her life. I have 3 scenarios.

3. Randoms kids/townfolk that have been throwing rocks did it. This is the least likely but its possible. The GR did steal everyone's family pictures.

2. The GR did it as a test. She failed.

1. The preacher/reverend and his flock did it. He did off a guy over casino winning. The GR did buy the church out from under them. He said some wierd stuff about stoning to Kevin. Also being stoned to death is so very biblical.

I think that's the most likely option actually. Especially since they have shown that this happens in the Matt episode.

I forgot about that scene. Makes total sense though.

What I do know is that, during that scene I was thinking

"frick, now I'm hooked on this show"

Way to plagiarize the BS Report.

I only consider it the least likely since the story wouldn't be as good. The church vs the GR or the GR thinning their own herd would have more drama.

I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being a few locals that took it to the next level.

I feel like I am watching Treme with this show. No real direction. I said frick it and went to Wikipedia to read the plot of the novel. It didn't have one. I get what they are trying to do but they need to tie some of this shite together.

I agreed with their take, they verbalized what I was thinking and why I am out on this show

Would it have been better if i said "I heard this on the bs report and I agree with it?" Should I footnote my posts?

Definitely felt that way the first 5 or 6 episodes, but seems better now.

I'm just waiting for more of Andie MacDowell's daughter in states of undress.
