The show was best when it was the guys going through daily life and talking about fantasy.

Now it seems they just try to up the stakes and make the next episode even more outrageous than the last.

Checked it out. The combine thing was so one of the worst scenes I've seen in a while, made me cringe big time.

I'll say it, this show was funny for about 6 episodes until it started to suck. With the exception of the season premier of Season 2

The problem is it is completely unrelateable to anything IRL.

For instance, IRL friends usually rag on each other pretty hard for laughs. It is common and widespread. BUT, usually the subject of the ragging lasts a short time period before we move on to something else. It just gets stale. So we find something new to rag each other about. It's a wave of up and down. There are also interactions that don't involve ragging, and are completely functional.

To spend every waking moment/interaction over the course of 6? years ragging on each other over the same shite??? What kind of losers do this? Seems like a shitty existence, and is far from funny.

We get it
Taco is dumb
Kevin is a girly man
Ruxin is a tightwad
Andre is weird

The characters are the most 1 dimensional in TV. When all you do is literally say "Taco is dumb" over and over and over it sucks.

I also thought them being that mean to Andre in season 4 and 5 was over the top and flat out cruel.

I mean make fun of the guy but what the show did made it seem like he wasn't even their friend...pretty harsh

I liked the episode last night. Overall, it was average, but still I got some good laughs. I liked the Andre vs Kevin dynamic and "Tefl-Andre."

I agree with most of you and that they need to tone it down. I'd rather it be more like a Seinfeld type show but the guys are in a fantasy league, kind of like the first season. The whole urban golf thing was pretty dumb and too over the top. The same goes for the funeral. I chuckled a little at the solo flash mob, but it was a bit cringeworthy at the same time.

The past couple seasons have still had some great episodes, but always seem to have a couple of duds (see Rafi and Seth Rogan episode...ugh). I wouldn't consider this one either.

Yup. Even though it was clearly a dream, it was just awkward and incredibly stupid.

And I agree with most that the more normal they are, the better the show is. When they try to out-do themselves and continue to up the bar, it gets into stupid territory. The golf shite was awful, and not just because of Taco...it was just dumb since none of them would ever actually do that.

ETA: Also, for as good of friends as they were with Ted, you'd think they'd at least be the fricking slightest bit upset that he died. But nah, Ted's dead...time to party.

Ted would've wanted it that way.

Watched last night... just... ugh.

There were a few decent jokes thrown in there (wetting the bed, Tefl-andre, even mixing up Jordan Cameron and Cameron Jordan) but most of it was just stale and predictable or completely over the top.

It would have been funny to have JJ Watt at the funeral and talking shite to them. Having the same two guys that Ruxin mixed up randomly show up just jumps way the frick over the shark. And then how does he not know what an IDP is? Hasn't he played fantasy football for years and years?

The urban golf thing had the potential to be funny, but instead it turned into golf ball in the soup, gold ball through the window cheesy predictable jokes.

I'll give it one or two more episodes but this one is on life support.

If you liked it the first 2 seasons why don't you like it now? What should change to make it funny again?
