I think so, but a couple in here seem to disagree.
IMO it rebounded from a pretty terrible S4. It sort of got back to them ragging on each other and being assholes, with a little FFB thrown in (which was the recipe for greatness early on). Outside of that one episode (you'll know it when you see it), it was definitely a step forward IMO.

I just liked it because it was crazy and different. A lot of the episodes of The League can be filled with stale jokes. We get it...Andre has a bad fashion sense.

My friends and I have ragged each other about the same shite for years, and it's still just as funny to us.
Rehashing jokes isn't bad to me if the jokes are funny. Rehashing bad jokes (i.e. Rafi) is not funny. But I hate Rafi more than most though.

Because they overkill him. Rafi saying anything more than a few lines and being onscreen any more than a scene or two = too much Rafi for me.
He's okay in VERY small doses. Perfect example for me with that is that paintball episode (S4 I think?). He was in it just enough to be funny then move along. When he throws the paintbrush in slow-mo, it was hilarious. But most of the time he is onscreen for far too long.

seasons 1 and 2 were gold. 3 was ok

The Rafi episodes are terrible. I think the League is at it's best when it's at least somewhat believable. Rafi drags them into underground Mexican wrestling and shite, and it's just not believable at all.

Good point.
Also, too many celebs/NFL stars as well. IIRC, the first one was Chad Johnson. And they way they played that one (in Vegas, chatted him up, etc.) was at least believable. But now they try to cram as many players into the show as possible, and it suffers from that IMO. These dudes aren't gonna be hanging with JJ Watt for no reason.

A few episodes were good but overall is was pretty bad,but hopefully this season is good.
