Glad they're back together. But I'm tired of the perpetual shite on Phil story. Was hoping with his brother he would get a few wins. Nope. He just piles it on too. All of the other characters are still god awful with the exception of Todd and Carol.

The constant crapping on Phil is tired. Firery arrow was subtle, but a burn. Literally.
He got his swings in at the Bowl. But still didn't work out for him.

Agreed. Tandy was at a sort of turning point, his brother came back, could've been a good way to move the show forward and go back to goofy shite like how to get things working, exploring places still unexplored, etc...
Instead the shows plot now seems to be how far can they push Tandy before he snaps and murders someone.
We'll have to see where they take the show. I'll keep watching every week, but it's getting slow.

I agree that another person shitting on Tandy kinda sucks, but at least it's funny. I thought last night's episode was pretty hilarious with them going back and forth.
Also, let's not pretend that the Tandyman isn't begging for some of this and bringing it upon himself with Mike.
For some reason, Todd being in the relationship with Gayle and Melissa is hilarious to me. And the fact that he keeps fricking up is great too.
The show is suffering a little from not enough Carol though. I will admit that. But other than that, I have enjoyed the last couple a lot (and I didn't know if I would once Sudekis joined the cast).
Interested to see where they go from here. And I will admit that the show needs a change of scenery or some big thing to happen soon. While I do like the goings-on lately, it is starting to feel a little repetitive and a bit slow.
Also, let's not pretend that the Tandyman isn't begging for some of this and bringing it upon himself with Mike.

But the thing is- at the end of the day, Tandy is a decent guy. He's made some stupid mistakes but he is trying to get along with everyone and be a better person. The group constantly targeting him and using him as a punching bag is getting really old. They didn't even give Todd crap for sleeping with Gayle and Melissa at the same time and that was way shittier than anything Tandy has done. And why is he still Tandy if other Phil is dead? I feel like the writers are in a rut and don't know in which direction to take the show next.

I thought the last episode was probably the funniest one yet... it had some major LOL moments. If you didn't enjoy it, it may be time to stop watching.
I lost it when Phil woke up and fell out of the bed off the cliff.

I didn't say there weren't funny moments. But in real life when someone gets shite on even marginally as much as Phil does on the show it quickly becomes unfunny and sad. Some of the jokes are still funny, but the situation is sad and painful to watch. They need to shift gears.

I disagree with that. I think he CAN be a decent guy sometimes. But a lot of times he's still the exact same selfish a-hole that we started the show off with, and that's why it's so great. Even when he catches a break, he still manages to frick himself and screw up.
Not to mention that most of his "nice guy" stuff is just bullshite to try to get in everyone's good graces.
shite, his brother comes back...FROM SPACE...and instead of being happy, Phil punches him in the dick and gets insanely jealous when the group likes Mike. Then he tries to make Mike look like an a-hole and they go back and forth with pranks.
Most of Phil's niceness is a complete front. That's what makes the character so hilarious...he always tries to be the nice guy, but at heart he's still the same douche that had his way by himself for so long.

I really only call him the Tandyman, because that's funny. But I agree with you that his name is Phil...even when Blhil (Black Phil) was around. Because frick Black Phil.

Agree. I love the show, and even love some of the interactions with the group. But IMO this show suffered from bringing in too many people too fast. I mean shite, they've already had two people die this season (Black Phil and Will Ferrell)...in a show about how there is (almost) only one man left on earth.
Phil should still be the main focus of the show, and a lot of times he's not. And the show suffers because of that IMO. I would be happy with Phil and Carol taking off and travelling around meeting groups of similarly insane people.
