It's been a year. Melissa is watching the 2019 X Games with Todd and it's now 2020.

I seem to remember animals being killed by the virus as well. Which is why it was such a big deal for the cow to show up & hear the crickets.

I thought all TV was from recorded DVR or DVDs?

Once the cable bill goes unpaid for a while and there's no humans managing the accounts, would you still have DVR access after a year?

I honestly don't know.

Yeah, now that you say that I think you may be right. I do remember the cow being a pretty huge deal.

Y'all are seriously overthinking this type of show

Keep in mind I'm not nitpicking it to say "that's unrealistic! This show sucks!" I'm simply curious. My DVR/unpaid bill question has little to do with LMOE and more to do with general curiosity.

I fully realize this is a lighthearted comedy and it should be taken as such.

SPOILER

I'm kind of glad that Phil "Stacy" died.

The previous home owner probably had it in the DVR. Back in season one, Tandy asked Carroll to borrow her DVR because he only had Cake Boss or something in his.

Anyway Tandy was a super duper douchebag in last nights episode. Basically that woman telling him that he is to have nothing to do with that baby was such a sweet twist of the knife in his heart.

Are they going to squeeze in an episode before a 3 week break again?

Ha.

They just need to put this show/season on Netflix already so I can binge it.

well ok then!

I'm not a huge fan of the "Todd is a player" routine. Reg hookups with 2 and a side kiss with the other? Idk..I know they have to have the characters go somewhere but it just seems out of place.

Love that the brothers are reunited at this point. I hope that in teh coming eps they show us some of the other storyline of sudekis making his way to tucson and eventually to the coast.

The nut punch at the end made me lol. Tearful family reunion, going to hug, and bam! Haha.

Agreed, but you have to think he looks a lot better in comparison to Phil.

I did think the reunion scene where he just nails Sudekis in the balls was pretty funny. I'm curious where they're going to go with Phil's obviously more successful younger brother who he still bosses around is going to work out. I mean he's like a replacement for black Phil in the skills department, but seems to always (at least in the few scenes we've seen) let Tandy have the final say in things.

Last night was great. They are finally making Phil more human and sympathetic.

And then he punches his brother in the balls.

Then you should've enjoyed his obnoxiously awkward Big Love speech at the end

Not like Big Love.... But like a big... love.

Carol trying to Boom was hilarious. Was that a boom?

I legitimately felt bad for Phil having to admit he's sterile. I'm hooked on the show. And a huge fan of Will Forte.

I passed blue Gatorade through my nose at the nut punch and the subsequent fight.

Sudekis and Forte always has great chemistry on SNL, no reason to think it won't translate to the show. I'm excited to see where this is headed.

As for the show in general:
I love that the writers make shite like that happen. It's been an interesting look at the post apocalyptic world.

Taking and RV and stealing artifacts from all over the US to decorate your house.

The one guy who could do anything died by a simple appendicitis that would've been easily solved in the other world.

Smacking a tennis ball through a Monet was hilarious.

Todd the fat slob being the only fertile male and the rebound guy was hilarious.

Opening up with indoor tennis was quite good for me.

"I've been practicin' for this test my whole life..."

"There is no crossword puzzle..."

The Hellraiser face gave me weird wicked flashbacks to the terrible horror movie.

Really looking forward to next week's episode with Sudekis.
