I predict that January Jones will end up being a huge bitch. She's not a good enough actress to not be herself eventually.

Actually you're right, full disclosure; I'm kinda drunk I went back and looked at the thread from the start and I was a little hostile. My apologies.

Ok so the first 3 episodes have been pretty predictable, but now is where the show can go in a few different directions. I don't know how this show will have lasting power, but it's worth watching.

It's cool man. 
I really want to like this show because I have always liked Forte and I have liked Schall on everything else I've seen her in. I think with a premise like this show it will take a little time for it to build. And I liked the first two episodes way better. Those episodes had some good jokes. This episode I'm sure was important for set up for following episodes like the next one with JJ, so it wasn't supposed to be so Hana funny. I think it will get better but I'll probably only watch a couple more if I don't like it and have to give up on it, which I don't really want to do.
It's like Parks and Rec season one was okay and got much better by the end. Then season 2 was brilliant. So a lot of time it just takes a while for the writers and cast to get into a good rhythm and it's why I don't like to give up too soon on a show.
I'm glad other people are really liking this show though.

You missed the entire point of what I just said. Shows sometimes start off slowly and get much better like Parks and Rec. You may need to learn about reading comprehension.

Yeah, I dont think she will do cool shite like the other one. She will just wear on him and he will want her gone, but by then he may have pissed off Schall too much.

I just watched it again but sober this time and I definitely like this episode more than I originally thought. Couple of pretty good one liners that I forgot about. I wonder how many other people there really are out there that we don't know about yet? I'm also curious to get the backstory on the newcomer...where'd she come from, how long she's been traveling, why a limo, etc.

I watched all three episodes last night, after all of the raves here. I loved it. I'm normally not a Forte fan, but he works well on this show. Really enjoyable and funny.

Anyway, I liked the first episodes. The third one was terrible IMO.
Completely immature 40 year old catching things on fire, talking to balls and acting like a slob.
Completely irritating opposite.
The whole thing is funny at first, but loses appeal fast.
Then add the completely predictable "twist" and have a few episodes about the sexual conflict.
I think the show has a lot of potential, but it also has the potential to cater to the lowest level of intelligence.
WG, thanks for sobering up.
This board is one of the best on TD because people discuss things. I'd hate to see it turn into the music board.

Eeeehhhhhhhhh that may be overstating a bit. I think the biggest thing about it (at least to me) is that I went in with pretty low expectations. Just based on what I'd seen it didn't really look like it stood a chance, but it's actually been pretty decent. I don't think anyone is placing it in the pantheon of greatest sitcoms of all time, just that it's better than expected.

Yeah I said after the 2nd episode that I really hope they don't go to the well too many times with that gag. Stopping at stop signs, handicapped parking, etc.
I think the show will take off a bit after we get more characters. I mean there's only so much you can do with only 2 people on screen the whole show.
