Possibly connected to the disappearance of a Middlbury woman in 1971. Bought something at his store and was last seen there before she fell off the map. Told her friends that she'd meet them at class that she had to go back and get something from dorm and that was it...

Bet she was offered a ride.

Looked A LOT like his wife.

Dork

Cheekbones, Chins and foreheads.

Thought pilots were supposed to have good eyesight and attention to detail.

Her face is wider and forehead is shorter. Cheekbones aren't really that similar. I am the type of person who doesn't think people look similar a lot though, for the record.

Nice. The shade/tone is much closer in the new picture.

it was a letter though, right? So it would have had to have been mailed a day or more before the murder, since the police found her within 24 hours. Unless I misunderstood the rigor mortis explanation.

Doubtful. If he dropped it in the mail the day of the murder, I imagine it would have been found during the sorting process, and the police were very quickly contacted.

That's possible, but it is an odd thing I haven't heard explained. If she was found within 24 hours, the timing of the mailing would have to be explained, and if it can't, everything about that letter and the writing and the rest of the documentary, really, is worthless.

To me it's the biggest issue.

I mean. What do you think they did? Just dropped it off on the regular mail route? The dude didn't even put the address on the letter.

It was postmarked the day before her body was found, but the letter wasn't found until a few days after. I guess the main thing would be determining where it was mailed from, and if you can figure out what time it was mailed.

ETA: Just found this video on Reddit. It's pretty amazing.

I watched the show a couple of years ago and kept trying to get my wife to watch. We finally binged it (me for the second time) over the past couple of days and she is completely floored

She yelled out at the tv when he got caught with the mic on in the bathroom.

Dude still hasn't gone to trial yet for the Susan Berman murder. It's insane how drawn out these murder cases can get.
