It's something to watch when nothing is on.

I thought it was funny, but it's a very polarizing film. Most people who have posted about it before have hated it.

I thought Ghost Town was a much funnier Ricky Gervais movie. If that helps.

I really don't care about him trashing religion. I care that the movie blows. I liked Ghost Town a 100 times better than this.

And Ghost Town isn't a great movie.

+1

I thought the movie was clever and funny in parts but the religion part just was dumb and too much. He could have done one or two jokes but I feel like half the movie bashed religion.

Neat idea completely derailed by two things: The movie isn't just pro-atheism, it's anti-religion. When the filmmaker essentially calls everyone who believes in God a liar, that's a pretty antagonistic stance. Two, Jennefier Garner's character is morally repugnant, even by the standards of the movie's universe. She's a shallow, horrid person, and unworthy of being the main love interest.

I completely agree with this. I don't really care about the religion stuff though.

Yes, it had a cool idea, and could have been done much better, but I still thought it was funny.

Y'all don't think Garner's character is a pretty accurate representation of what human courtship would be like if there was zero ability to inhibit our true feelings?

I would have to believe everyone has dismissed another due to looks, education or wealth. That's what I thought was nailed.
