I had several problems with the Grey and do not get the hype...
1. Why leave the plane that offered shelter, food, and plenty of stuff to burn/turn into weapons? "Hey, let's walk into those woods instead!" Further, it was out in the open and more likely to spot than 7 dudes trudging through the woods. Which brings me to point 2...
2. We're supposed to believe no one would look for them cause they're rufneks? Huh? OK, what about the pilots, stewardess and airline's multi-million $ plane not to mention all their families. Movie really
lost me here. Again, the "we're on our own out here" theme was ridiculous in this day and age.
3. After seeing the previews, it was obvious that Liam would be left to fight a last battle on his own. So the plot boils down to a tedious wait to see who'll get eaten next.
I did not have a problem with the ending after the silliness of the rest of it.
The one bright spot was the shock-value of some of the wolf attacks. Had the audience jumping a couple of times. Oh, and Neeson is solid as always.
