The Variety one could include stuff like Chappelle's Show, Tonight Show w/ Carson, Colbert Report, Unsolved Mysteries, game shows, etc. As part of that catchall, you could also include action shows like A-Team, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, etc.
Just spitballing here.
This is a good idea. The Original bracket is missing far too much.

I agree with Jamohn, this needs to be broken out more, it feels rushed and incomplete the way it is.

A must add to the classic bracket would be The Carol Burnett Show, with Hogan's Heroes as a possible.

Jamon has a good point. I mean, can you really compare a show like Seinfeld with Breaking Bad? I mean, people that favor sitcoms over dramas are going to select Seinfeld, and vice versa.
I'd be okay with this being a sitcom/drama/variety/miniseries with 4 winners. 10 shows in each bracket.
