Nah, I don't let actors' real lives affect how I watch their movies. Alec Baldwin is a giant dick, but he makes awesome movies. Tom Cruise is by most accounts a nice guy, but is batshit crazy....but he makes awesome movies. Mel Gibson is another one.
I just genuinely thought he sucked.

this Jason Biggs thing is full of cringe

I like Jack Black for the most part, but can easily see why someone would hate him.
I remember watching Orange County and thinking it was horrible. But I liked him in shite like Saving Silverman (obviously), Airheads, Shallow Hal, IKWYDLS2, School of Rock, Be Kind Rewind, Kung Fu Panda, etc. He was corny in King Kong, but I think he was supposed to be.
And the more I think about it...his cameo in Anchorman was awesome. I busted out laughing when he punted Baxter off the bridge.
Also, another of my favorite cameos was Black, Paul Rudd, Justin Long, and Jason Schwartzman as the Beatles in Walk Hard. That shite was hilarious, especially Rudd.
