The Force Awakens Crackpot Theory Thread

Based solely on the preview just shown, what are your wild, unfounded speculations regarding events in the film.

Here's mine:
Got a strange feeling during the bit where the bad guy swings his light saber followed by the cut to good guys being upset that Luke is killed right then, perhaps giving himself up ala Obi Wan.

Kylo and the black guy are not Jedis/Sith
They have no training but are force sensitive.
Kylo is obsessed with Vader so he is pretending to be a sith.
In that scene neither of them know what they are doing with the lightsabers since they dont have training. Thats why it looks weird.

Kylo Ren is part of a plan to regenerate or bring back Vader through the strongest use of the Force in history.
The siths and the dark side are returning to full force, and they always will until Anakin brings balance.
That was the prophecy. All Vader did was kill a sith and put a halt on the war. New siths are coming.
I don't think Vader will be cloned. That's too easy, too scientific. Ren will be one of the most powerful Jedi/Siths we have ever seen or at least bring about one of the most powerful Jedi/Siths we have ever seen, and his only goal is to bring back Vader to fulfill his duty.

I could see that happening. I really haven't read much about this movie at all but wasn't Mark Hamill supposed to have a smaller role than Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford?

If you want to lose a lot of viewers take a guy who has been a hero for 40 years and make him a bad guy out of the blue.

If you're talking about Kylo Ren, it's not. It's been confirmed Adam Driver is playing that character.

I don't think Luke is the Sith Lord, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was one of his kids trying to avenge Vader.
