Yeah, I think the police chief will still get crippled and be forced to resign. Lance will probably feel he needs get away from Starling City after this season since it looks like he'll piss in Oliver's and Laurel's cornflakes for an episode or two.

The only thing that made me question him being RF was that the showrunners seemed to want the comic readers to think that was who he was from the get go. I thought it may have been a misdirect. But once they had the episode where the RF was revealed, and they showed Well's putting the device on the RF suit, the gig was up. The only question then was whether or not there were two different RFs.

They took a page out of Smallville with revealing he was the Flash to Iris and then going back in time. Exact same thing happened when Clark revealed who he was to Lana and proposed but then he someone went back in time and decided not to tell her, if memory serves.

In this case, it so expertly well done that you can hardly complain.
That episode was entertaining as frick and a lot of shite went down. My theory that Wells is so fast he can be in two places at once was proven correct, Wells is a future thawne, Cisco was killed, I see Spartacus once again on TV, Barry and Iris admit their love for each other, Flash ran so fast he went back in time and could possibly get a do over and then he could possibly stop all the bad shite from happening.
But flash running so fast he went back in time in the comic was only reserved for epic events and that was a tad slower in the comics. The special effects of that tidal wave and flash running was pretty goddamn amazing for TV btw.
Great episode and can't wait for next week.
Side question, what do you think Superman would've done to stop the tidal wave?

My first thought as well. This was done so much better though.
My question is, why aren't there two Barry's in the same timeline now?

Iris' facial expression when Barry took off to stop the tidal wave was priceless. Next week should be outstanding.

I thought Cisco's reaction when Well's walked in on him, and started explaining who he was, was pretty great too. You could tell from the get go that Cisco knew he was a dead man from the onset. His tearing up was a great touch. I thought the actor nailed that scene.

Yeah, I think so for me too. I just couldn't believe everything that was happening or being revealed. I like that Barry went back in time, though. We know whats going on now, but have no idea how it will play out. I think it was a fantastic way to tell this story.
Oh, and much props to the actor playing Cisco. I could feel his terror, his disappointment in Harrison, and his general feeling towards that emotional spot. He was perfect.
