The song at the end of the episode was the same song from O Brother where the girls are washing clothes in the river and one of them turns into a toad
Nice Coen brothers reference/ shoutout

Kirsten Dunst character is some sort of sociopath eh?
And Mrs. Solverson appears to be in line to die of cancer for a second straight series.

I liked the song they played as Culkin was driving to the waffle hut, Children of the Sun. I downloaded it on the way to work this morning

Love this show. Locals here have a love/hate relationship with it.

Guessing the UFO and the conspiracy nut meet somewhere this season.

My wife pointed out to me that Kirsten Dunst's husband in the show was Landry from Friday Night Lights. I didn't recognize him

Doesn't seem like enough people watch the show for a thread per episidoe (WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE), so I'll post in here.
Another good episode. More space/alien stuff at the end there. No idea where they're going with that.
And while I love the show no matter what, that was pretty awful in terms of commercials. I swear that the scene where they discovered the gun was less than three minutes long between commercials. And it took up a 9-10:30 time slot, but it ended at 10:24.

I watched it. Everyone is too concerned with Star Wars right now.

Odd programming decision to put it on opposite MNF.
Watched the second episode and was pretty lost after missing the first. I guess I'll pick it up as I go along.

This show is so damn amazing. Best show on tv right now IMO. Can't wait to see how everything unfolds.

Just watched the second episode. Damn Jesse Plemmons looks like he's 8 months pregnant in that scene in front of the fireplace.

I'm really liking the second season so far. I was afraid that the story would be a tad bit stale compared to the first season, but no way. It's shaping up nicely. That Indian is creepy as hell!

Loved everything about the episode except for the UFO. Would have preferred a less sci-fi cause for the accident.
Also kind of pissed that Culkin's character is dead. He could have been a great one.
I think the "UFO" was actually the headlights of the approaching car, even though we saw it as an UFO, I think we were looking through drug addled eyes.

Probably something like this. I was thinking that silver balloon that Molly fond could have been the cause of the light Rye saw. Headlights reflecting off of it would probably cause some odd light effects/flares. See also the end of this episode as the camera traveled up the building to see how oddly light can look when reflected.
Don't think it's anything sci-fi, just light playing tricks with his eyes.
ETA: How great was the scene with Ted Danson and the crew from Kansas City? This show just knows how to build tension into every scene.

Yeah. ..every scene is great

Yeah, I definitely think the "UFO lights" were just the street and car lights playing off that mylar balloon that Molly found out in the snow.
Such a great show.
And I wonder if Jesse Plemons is wearing some kind of fat prosthetic? If not, he really committed to the role to get those impressive moobs.

Apparently he was asked to gain weight for Black Mass. Fargo folks then had him keep it.

That scene was awesome. Black KC guy seems like they told him to sound as much like Obama as possible
Also the scene at the end in the butcher shop was incredibly tense.
This second season is off to a great start. I maintain that Season 1 was the best show on tv last year...hoping this can do the same. If they keep it going Fargo could be Breaking Bad good.
