The Exorcist is the best show no one is watching.

It’s well written and well acted. Sucks that only 1.3 million people are tuning in while 8 million + are watching Hawaii 5-0.

I'm watching. Season 1 was better. Story hasn't really focused yet for this season.

Sure it has. The devil is wrecking shop basically hunting Tomas. It wants an in through a priest and he’s inexperienced.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

I'm in this, very well done. Kind of like Hannibal, it will get canceled I'm sure.

I watched the pilot when it aired and thought it was good. I always intended to binge and catch up at some point. Decided October would be a good time. I'm halfway through the first season and it's very good.
My only complaint is that I think the show being on network TV is holding it back. They can really make these demons more imposing if they were allowed to use rated R language like in the movie.
But a very solid show. I'm enjoying it.

Is it back on? Season 2? I thought it didn't make it past the first season, which was very good.
Thanks for the heads up.

I've been watching since the premier. I find the writing to be very good, and interesting. I thoroughly enjoy it and definitely recommend it.

I loved Season 1 but couldn't really get into Season 2 with the foster kids. Does it get better? Maybe I'll give it another chance.

Is this an anthology series like AHS, or does the storyline carry over from season to season?

First season is a direct sequel to the first movie. Second season follows the same two priests on a new story.

Because no one is watching network TV. They’ll binge it when it comes on Netflix after it’s cancelled

Any suggestions where I can watch Season 1? It seems like such a pain in the arse to access Fox shows sometimes.

It's a carryover for 3 of the central characters of season 1 (3 priests/excorcists). The family (the other central characters) that they helped in season 1 have made no appearance in this season. I cant even think of a reference to them, only of certain events from season 1. So to answer your question, yes and no. They are strongly connected through key characters, but entirely different story arcs.

The gay stuff out of nowhere has been the most disturbing thing on this show.

It made sense the way the character is written, but it's not over the top.

It’s on Hulu. Might want to check out 123movies to see if it’s up there.
