re: The Challenge: All Stars season 2

I don’t know why they didn’t have the regular elimination this week, and then have a solo challenge next week.

That way, there would be 11 people in the house this week, and then a male-only elimination to bring it down to 10 next week.

My guess is production wanted to keep the drama of the two major alliances and decided they would rather send Cohutta home, instead.

Cohutta was never going to win but this is an unfair way to send him home.

I’m watching episode two right now. Man, I forgot how much I hate Nehemiah. He’s such an emotional bitch with pretty much everything. I also forgot he actually won a challenge (Gauntlet 3). Jasmine is already annoying too.

And Derek and Jody actually did give him someone that he asked for. So what if it’s not his first choice. Nehemiah sucks.

Leah is mad but she can’t be surprised since she literally doesn’t know any of these people.

It’s hilarious seeing Jonna talk about “I know there’s something wrong with Derek” as they show him prancing around in a dress and a pound of makeup.

ETA: Ayanna is ridiculous. I have trouble taking her seriously with her rah rah shite. Her helping Leah finish with Wind Beneath My Wings playing was hilarious.

Guys like Darrel, Brad, Laterrian, and Derrick K (minus the hairline) look the same. MJ is probably in better shape, same with Nehemiah. Teck and Cohutta look the same as well but both guys are super skinny.

Only Tyler really looks different.

From about 30-40, most females seem to age 20 years, while most men don't show signs like that til they're about 50.

I agree that child birth is probably the main factor and just how much it ages girls, but, also, look at Mark Long, who is legit probably 55 years old now and still looks 40.

Granted, he's probably on massive TRT and HGH 'anti-aging' regimens, but if most men stay in shape, they they just don't age the same as women.

Hell, CT looks 8 years younger than he did just 2 or 3 seasons ago because he got back in shape and lost the dad bod.

Tyler looks so much worse because he's gained a lot of weight and he probably drinks a lot of wine and cocktails.

Hell, Darrell still looks almost just like he did on Ruins, which was filmed in like 2009.

It's obvious that many of these guys could snd probably should still be on the real Challenge, but the girls are a different story.

Ehh, he said he's coming back now on his last podcast. He also stopped coming on the show before vaccines were even a thing. I don't know the story, but he was supposedly cast last season and then either backed out or had to quartine at the last minute and dropped out.

All I know is, he has said multiple times on his podcast that the Bunker setup in Czech Republic fricked him up bad mentally on his last season. He basically said it was his worst experience ever on the show, including the Island, and that it really made him want to stay away from the Challenge for a while.

Don't know how true that is, but that was just fricked up how MTV put them all in such shitty/psychologically fricked up living quarters for months at a time, all while also having to play the game.

Watching E7 right now. Nehemiah saying he doesn’t hold grudges is hilarious. Obviously Brad made the best decision for his game. And Nehemiah sits there and says he’s riding or dying with his stupid alliance and yells that shite day and night through the house. What did he expect Brad to do?

That challenge with the monster truck looked fun as hell though.

I assume Casey will have to go home since she’s pregnant now. They don’t usually frick around with that.

Man Lattarian is so annoying. It’s like he feels like he has to be on ten all the time with the intensity and the “realness.” And it just comes off as weird to me for whatever reason. He did manhandle Tyler last episode though, which was funny.

Really sucks for Cohutta to have to go home. It doesn’t make sense why they wouldn’t just make the guys compete and give Cohutta whatever girl’s partner went home. That’s bullshite.

This challenge has to be Brad and Jodi’s to lose.

And that story about her having a C section to birth her stillborn baby damn near made me bawl my eyes out. Having a kid really changed me with shite like that. I can’t imagine that shite happening to me or my wife. That’s terrible.

Ayanna is so damn annoying, so I’m glad to see the next episode has people finally voicing to her how tired of her shite they are. I totally forgot about the “I slept in my uniform!” rant she went on that one season. That was so stupid. Nobody cares, girl. Nobody.

I do think this is Brad/Jodi’s challenge to lose, but as always I’m pulling for my man Darrell. Love that dude.

Man, I wish. I would love that and it would instantly make the show much more enjoyable (even though I’ll still watch anyway). But the cast has so many holes in it, both talent wise and personality wise. They’ve done better lately with some solid overseas additions, but it would still be great to see old talents like this mesh with the newer casts. And another reason for cast holes is MTV out-woking itself and cancelling solid/entertaining cast members (Dee, Rogan, Jordan, etc.).

Jordan is not on the regular shows by choice. He is on Season 3 of All Stars, as is Wes.

I think a lot of the successful regulars don’t want to be gone for almost 4 months. The regular show now takes 15 weeks (older ones took 8-10 weeks).

Theo’s case was a freak incident, Turbo appears to have lots of options, and I think Georgia is done, but Dee/Rogan/Jenny should be back.

And of all the people to be regulars from the War of the Worlds season, I’m amazed it’s Josh.

From the last season thread, he's getting something like $50-80K just to show up, plus around $5K per week that he's on. Plus he has an easy path to the finals. Low end that's over $100K before winnings if he does well.

Man Teck always have me laughing with his comments them being able to curse without getting bleep out makes the show so much better.

I don't know if I would say all stars is better but it definitely has its moments where I enjoy it more.
