This right here. The show has become so predictable I constantly find myself checking emails, TD etc while it's on. At this point I hope it gets canceled and they go ahead and wrap it up so we can atleast get some closure.

Some shows are willing to sacrifice their viewers with short attention spans for stories with a long game in mind. This season has slowly built up the links if the chain, perfect choice of song btw. That chain is about to pull everyone tight for the second half.

My issue is not building the story up slowly. It is the bad writing of the show. It has become entirely to predictable. No one was fooled when we saw the metal detector go over Martha's purse. No one thought Philip and Elizabeth weren't gonna get the guys. Yet they played those moments, and many more, like they got is. It's become pretty bad. And the declining viewership supports this.

As the audience no one was supposed to be fooled by the electronics in the office. The true tension is built up in Martha's and Clark's relationship. If you think this show has bad writing, well I can't help you on that. We will just have to agree to disagree.

I can think of two reasons why she shot the bread girl: first, if you listen she had a slight accent and could not answer Elizabeth's question; or, second, she was an awesome witness to the driver of the black van that will have been seen fleeing from the scene after the abduction.

season 2 had issues and kind of a crazy ending, that was saved by the final cliffhanger
...which has made almost every scene of season 3 incredible, b/c so many of the scenes, even those not involving the illegals, can relate back to the undertones with paige.
the only thing that feels unnecessary is the south africa plotline, but it's giving the action/thriller scenes (the one yesterday was great)
