I wonder if the center would ever consider silencing Paige. They had a disaster on their hands with the other son who murdered his whole family. Now they have Paige going rogue. Going to be interesting to see how this plays out

I could SO see Claudia doing this. Gabriel, not so sure.
This would DEFINITELY drive Philip to turn/bolt. Elizabeth, I don't know...just because of her father's history and her (apparent) devotion to the cause.

i was thinking that too. She got involved in the church because this girl she randomly met got her involved. But a reviewer of the finale on EW makes an interesting point, that it wouldn't make sense for the Centre to push them to get Paige involved if they weren't also working on her, so it could be that girl was following her and PT also works for the Centre, but that also seems a little to convenient.

I thought at the time how it was so odd that that random girl came up to her on the bus and started talking to her, and how it all led to that church.

yeah, i can see it both ways. it would make a lot of sence to have the KGB independently working on Paige. Commies view the state over even parental rights and lets face it Paige would not be here if not for the KGB pairing Misha and whatever the hell Elizaeth's real name is. But, it is not unheard of for Churches like that to randomly recruit people. But it would also be a helluva test for Phil/Liz if it's the KGB pushing her to religion, getting baptized etc. That could go in all kinds of awesome ways.
ETA: what's kind of funny to me is, if they did get Paige on board, at her age, she would be graduating college and going to work for the CIA right around the time the USSR collapsed

now THAT could be a movie, esp with how Russia has devolved into a similar system with different oligarchs

I might be wrong, but didn't Elizabeth say she's from Ukraine? She did say her dad was coal miner and you get the idea her mother lives in a rural area. That was an entirely different country shortly after the collapse. Would be interesting to see how Liz reacts since she seems to be the true beleiver.
