I think it will either be terrible or great. I don't see it being anywhere in between.

Strangely, I've heard the opposite: that it is a competent movie aimed at adults. It is decidely meh from what I have read.

My expectation is actually smack dab in the middle.

Wow. I haven't read/heard/seen any reviews, it was just my logic that led me to believe that. It's an interesting concept, which I like, but once I heard it referred to as a romantic drama/thriller, I lost a little interest.

Slate panned the ending.

Feels a little to "Dark City" to me.

Watching the trailer and seeing the guy pull up the floor looked a lot like the queuing the aliens did in dark city. Unless it I start seeing some amazing reviews it'll wait for Netflix to get it.

I believe I first saw the theatrical trailer for this movie in like August of 2009. I still won't believe it's in theaters until I see the damn thing there.

Like someone already said, it looks like an interesting concept, but Matt Damon just looks/feels out of place in every movie he's been in outside of the Bourne/Ocean's movies to me. I'll probably just wait for Netflix on this.

I watched it. It's really a chick flick with a dab of the Matrix and Bruce Almighty thrown in. It's decent, not great.

SEMI-SPOILERS BELOW (not plot, just movie details)

The Bureau are Angels that try and enact the plan that was written by God. These Angels can only do so much and as the movie wears on it seems they are almost powerless/useless. The theology in this movie is lazy and not well thought out at all.

It was good, but could have been much better. Interesting concept overall, but it just fell short.

I agree it was an interesting concept, but it did seem kind of lazy towards the end.

Philip Dick's stories seem to be hit or miss when made into movies. I'll give this one a shot, though. Not much out there right now.

I loved Total Recall and Blade Runner but Minority Report, Next, and The Adjustment Movie all had great premises but just were poorly executed.

maybe that wasn't the right word, but I thought it could have been much better than it was.

Completely agree. Just saw it and it was a cool idea but a little far fetched and bad ending. (SPOILERS) I feel like it could have been better if the story had been the bureau just being a special agency of real people Imo

I meant it as a reply to the guy who said spoilers already. Should have put up a spoilers so my apologies but it really didn't tell you anything that you don't know 30 minutes into the movie

No problem man. I edited my post. I think I was probably the only one who saw it and atleast it wasn't a big one.
