i think AoU is setting the stage for this with how Stark wanted so much control and really messed up. Im sure thatll be a big focal point. Yet they tied everything up nice and peachy at the end of AoU.

Yeah that's what I didn't get, AOU didn't really set the stage. Cap and IM seemed fine after their farm chat

Basically how X-Men fans are so pissy that The Avengers passed them up in popularity, even though The Avengers were more popular to start and were passed up for 20 years, X-Men fans are convinced Marvel doesn't want "their most popular characters" to thrive....despite publishing 5 X-books at a time..

They're morons. I've been reading since the mid-80's and some of the best Xmen stories have come in the last 6 years. I wish Marvel had continued to "pass them up"

That thread is gold though. I'm gonna check it out tonight.

just voice posting man.

Interestingly enough, after the F4 debacle and guys like Fewer Kilometers defending the film,(no offense to him) I came across " The Complex" Basically how X-Men fans are so pissy that The Avengers passed them up in popularity, even though The Avengers were more popular to start and were passed up for 20 years, X-Men fans are convinced Marvel doesn't want "their most popular characters" to thrive....despite publishing 5 X-books at a time..

So in Civil War, in this case, The X-Men save Wolverine were too busy trying survive to get involved.

The fans take on the persecution complex that their favorite characters do...it's pretty grand

The Glorious Thread

I'd actually say I've liked the X-Men more over time than the Avengers (as a whole, I certainly like Cap and Thor, and maybe even Hulk more than most X-Men). But as a team, always the X-Men.

However, that stuff is bananas. Is it strange that X-Men fans are feeling persecuted? Life imitating art at its finest.

The rumor is that BP switches sides

Depending on how they finish setting up Wakanda, that would definitely tilt the balance of Power- I mean the leader of the most advanced nation on Earth is a guy who could cancel out Stark and War Machine.
