The show is awesome. I use the cc too. All kinds of gibberish is spoken at times. Love the show though.

I've really enjoyed the first two episodes but it's not in my top tier only tv shows

It has a few over the top moments that make me shake my head. Like the scenes where he kills the guy and chews his neck. Wtf?

It's a solid B for me

Who is the antagonist in this? The East India Company or the high sparrow, or who?

I have watched both episodes. Still not sold on it.

Yeah I agree with the critics. Everywhere I've seen it's rated around the 7/10 or 70-75% approval. That's about what I'd put it at

Harry's character spent a lot of time in Africa, also a lot of talk of being a savage etc. earlier in the 2nd episode someone(I think his sister) asked if was really a cannibal, so him biting the neck wasn't out there for me

I'm glad there is more than 1 series planned, there's obviously been a lot of stuff to fuxk hjm up when he was abroad you could go into, housemate suggested the high sparrow/leader of East India sexually abused him when he was part of the company. A bit out there but you could go a lot of ways with it

Watched the 3rd episode but won't pass on any spoilers but as far as I'm concerned it's legit and is filling the hole left by peaky blinders and GoT nicely

Watched Ep 3 last night, I'm still liking it. Fleshed out some more of Delaney's past, probably my favorite ep yet. Yes, subtitles were on. I'm surprised the numbers aren't better.

Great show, IMO. Delaney isn't a good guy, to an extent, last episode showed he had some compassion for some people. But for the most part he is a bad man battling other bad men. High sparrow is doing a great job of being the antagonist for the East India Trading company. Basically, all of the villains do a real good job of making you hate them.

Hardy plays an excellent psychopath!
