Being born and raised in Louisiana, I just about love all things pertaining to LA, entertainment wise. The more I watch, I DVR all new episodes cause I am compelled to watch, the more I hope the show is cancelled soon. Too much film editing to be believable. This past weeks episode is the worst I have ever seen. From the size of the gator shot in open water to the size of the snake caught under the house was truly exaggerated. The first gator shot looked huge, but Chase picked him up like it was a rag doll. The snake under the house looked like a smaller snake, when released, he looked like a red wiggler worm. Old habits are hard to break. I just need to change my DVR programming.

The first season was spell-binding. It was gripping and compelling and shined a light on an industry and lifestyle that most outside of South Louisiana had no idea existed. Unfortunately, it was only really good as a one off season. A series simply gets repetitive and the ploys they use to manufacture excitement and drama just take away from the realism. This is a perfect example of a reality tv show that was a great concept that long overstayed its welcome.

Well, no shite. That was painfully obvious after the first season. It would be like watching Professional Wrestling for the first time having no idea that it's fake. At first, it's really awesome and entertaining, but then you start noticing when they mess up. You start seeing how it's all staged. You realize there is no Easter Bunny, there is no Santa Claus, and that "tree breakah!" is really just an average 6 foot-er.

Sorry about the down vote. I could not agree with you more. Vote buttons are too close on the cellular devices.

Due to Troy I got to see the words "Boudee" and "Babiin" used and shown in subtitle.

I could be spelling them poorly but both, as most know, refer to pouting and hanging a pouty bottom lip. That was TV gold. But it has run its course... Twice.

And Glenn and Mitchell were just sad. More so now that one died. They brought nothing to the show other than mocking.

I'm a gator Hunter and it's 90% BS. No way LIz's helper hauls in a 500 pound gator by herself with the flick of the wrist.

The above pick is a morning haul and I don't think a single gator went over 300lbs and a couple are over 10ft.

I have always loved these type of shows but I have to admit, I finally stopped watching it this year. These type shows have a few years worth of material and then they should end. They just look for material to write about which causes the fake shite to be the key targets.

Some with the Crab fishing, tree cutting, etc. They need to last a season or two then move on. Not bleed it for all its worth

I enjoyed the show when it first came out but I gave up after season 2.

It became too predictable.

"Troy needs 30 gators today to keep pace." Troy somehow catches 31 gators and it just so happens the last line is the biggest gator of the day which happens to have some corny name like "Swampzilla."

The worst is living out of state where theres a few people from up north (New York) where they can't get the concept that that's not what it is like in Baton Rouge even the slightest bit.

Cool pics. Nice to get some input from a real hunter. Thanx, and take care.

it's so lame. The narrator really irks me when he tries to affect a country accent and get all intense.

Couldn't believe the wife was still taping it...
