The opening scenes (30 minutes) looks so cartoonish or like a video game. There's too much happening at once. The Jedi's fights against the CGI droids looks so clumsy. The dialogue is as bad as the other sequels, much worse than I remember--especially Anakin and Padame's stab at Shakespearean dialogue (love...blah, blah, blah).

Don't misunderstand me. Episode III is much better than I and II, but Ewoks are head and shoulders above this...thoughts?

What do you like or hate about this film.

...oh, if anyone thinks the prequels are better than Episode VII...that person needs his/her head examined!

Like you said, it's the best of the prequels. It still had some terrible dialog at times. And I still LOL at Darth Vader's NOOOOOO!!! None of the prequels can come anywhere near TFA in my opinion.

They really aren't that bad. It's the common mistake of going into something with high expectations based on previous enjoyment.

Oh, and the nature of people to hate something because others hate it.

I watched them all in order of Ep 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 in the past month and I enjoyed them all. Obviously 4, 5, and 6 are better.

Episode 6 is the best of the series, followed by Episode 7.

"Hold me...like you did on Naboo"

I think I dislike her dialogue more than Anikan's.

I think the dialogue is a little high order... way too prim and proper.

I think that a better actor could have helped the dialogue in the case of Anakin.

The CGI was just too much. They did CGI for things that did not need to be CGI.. I get that droids and aliens can be easier in CGI but every location doesnt have to be CGI

I remember thinking that a planet full of wookies would be awesome. Thank you, Lucas, for screwing that up! A bunch of CGI apes swinging around, sounding like Tarzan.

You should've watched them as 4 5 1 2 3 6.

The first two original movies sets up the climatic finale but before watching it, you can watch the prequel movies to see how the characters were set up for the original trilogy. And when you finish the prequels, you can watch the finale to the original trilogy. Two Present day episodes first, then thee flashback episodes, then the present day finale. Then watch episode 7.

Well, that's just plain wrong. Naratively the first Act is pointless, we have the Ewoks, it makes the Empire look like a bunch of pussies, they bring back the Death Star, and they spare Han due to toy sales. I don't know how anyone could say with a straight face that they liked it more than Empire unless they're 6.

1. The Empire Strikes Back
2. A New Hope
3. The Force Awakens
4. Return of the Jedi
5. Revenge of the Sith
6. The Phantom Menace
7. Attack of the Clones

That is the correct order of things.

I see we differ on only one spot...last place. Why do you find II better than III?

I have an intense dislike of TPM. I can enjoy the other prequels dispute their flaws, but Episode 1 is by far my least favorite.

Be more specific. What was worse? I am not trying to be an arse; I am simply curious.

It has no protagonist and has no relevance to the arc of the other five films.

Honestly, if you took a group people who watched 1-6 and a group who watched 2-6 and asked "what is Star Wars about?" They'd give you the same answer.
