Starting Lost while knowing how it ends, but nothing much else..?

Is it worth the watch?
Years ago I ended up seeing the final episode at someone else's house, I don't know much else about the story, I've seen a couple episodes in the mid seasons. Probably 5 all in all. Just was wondering if it's worth the watch while knowing how this story ends.

Yes it's great. Simple as that, but gets weird around season 5.

Yes. It pretty much set the standard for all the great TV shows we have seen since.

I'm going to tell you chances are you don't know how it ends. It is a wildly misinterpreted end where there is only one logical conclusion. It's posted here once a month by people who finish the series, and they're wrong.
Even if you understood the final twist, there's a major thing that happens in Season 5 that makes it impossible for you to put the final season into context without seeing it. If you're plopped into the middle of the finale's showdown and you come in from Season 4, you will very wrongly assume things that are happening. The Final Episode very much relies on you seeing every episode before to understand it.

We should have a board rewatch, it’s been a while since I’ve watched it

It's weird and just OK.
It's really one of the fort of the new style "epic" TV shows we see today so much. It's first and probably one of the worst too

Great ride. Terrible ending, no matter what Lost pumpers say.

The final episode is personally my favorite. Only the Season 3 finale is in discussion with it, largely regarded as one of the greatest episodes ever along the lines of Ozymandias.

Great show that will make you cry like nothing else, but EXTREMELY overrated. How anyone has it in their top 5 shows ever is beyond me, it's pretty evident that they wrote themselves into a corner and ended it the easiest way they knew how.

Honestly, I could be into this when I finish my Weeds re-watch. I'm halfway through season 5 there. Haven't rewatched Lost in many years.

Don't even care about the ending, the journey was great

Hell yes it is

Absolutely. I think I may have actually enjoyed watching it more the 2nd time through. The first time was a solid binge, and I got caught up in all the mystery and theories and what not. The 2nd time through I could really focus on the characters and their story arcs, which is really what the show was about.

I actually thought about that this week. I am totally down if someone wants to organize that.

Lost is amazing. Definitely worth the watch even if you know the ending.
