Just finished season 4. Wow. I loved Pryzbylewski's redemption story. On season 5 episode 3. So far I'd rank them 2,4,3,1

Seasons 3 and 4 shite all over 2.

You got it so backwards right now. The writing and the plot of season 2 is far superior to the others. I've gone over it why so many times on this board I'm just burned out on explaining. Especially on your rewatch you'll figure it why.

However, my favorite line of the series is snoop in the season 4 opener. "So what main. You earned da buck like a muhafricka main. You keep dat shite."

I didn't watch The Wire until HBOGo was around but I've never gotten the hate for Season 2. I really enjoyed it.

Probably b/c it's dealing with the docks and unions over the hip-hop street hustling gangsta vibe.

I just looked at it as a more complete picture of Baltimore crime as represented on the show I guess. To each his own.

Really an awesome show. Sopranos is still my GOAT but I find myself constantly thinking about the wire, especially seasons 3-5.

Me too it's going up the ladder for me. Might eclipse season 3 by the end depending on what happens with Omar.

Just finished a rewatch last night and S5 went up on the second go around.

I think my biggest disappointment was how Omar went out, too. But that's how shite goes down sometimes in the game.

Such a fantastic show.

Just finished the episode where Omar gets killed, and I know season 5 gets a lot of hate on here but I 'm enjoying it

yeah...i think the guy he's based off of plays a character on the show

Which one? Or have I not made it there yet?

He's one of Butchie's jailhouse buddies who looks out for Omar. He also goes into those towers with Omar when he does the Spiderman shite off the balcony. Which was supposedly a RL incident from that dude's life.
