The first read through, I had no earthly idea Loras or Renly were gay. I figured it out the second read through, but it is incredibly subtle. The show unnecessarily smears it in your face.

I had no idea the original theatrical versions do not exist on blue ray. Seems odd, anyone know what gives with that?

I do. Wal-Mart still sells tons of them. I almost exclusively use Redbox for new releases because it is 1/3 the cost of streaming rentals, assuming they even offer a streaming rental. And I don't have the patience to wait a year or more for it to show up on Netflix.
