I watched it with my 5 year old daughter. She looked through her fingers during the Kylo Ren parts but by the middle of the film was fine.

Yeah, we all found those scenes cringeworthy.

Han Solo's demise is pretty gruesome and graphic.

My 3 year old son and 6 year old daughter both loved it. Saw it 3 times in theater.

False. There is nothing in this movie that is more graphic than anything from the previous movies.

I wouldn't want myb8 year old daughter to see the rathtars(SP?) On Han's ship eating people. That's probably too much for her. I'd wait until 10 or later like a PG rating suggest.

Not too young. That's when I started getting into Star Wars and I'm thankful for that.

We are very protective of our kids and filter everything they watch at our house, and we watched TFA with the whole group from 3 up to 8. It's just an adventure with bad guys.

be fine. Kids love it, a couple of scary parts. No graphic violence or language.
They will enjoy it. I would say anyone older than five would enjoy it.

Obi1 gets decapitated in very first film. Can't get more gruesome than that
