I really liked The Alternative Factor, despite some minor complaints. Provocative idea of a "safety valve" gateway between negative and positive universes.
I thought a few memorable quotes were:
Spock: "Jim, madness has no purpose, or reason, but it may have a goal."
Kirk: "So you're the terrible thing? The murdering monster? The creature?" Lazarus: "Yes, Captain. Or he is. Depends on your point of view, doesn't it?"
Kirk: "You'll be trapped inside that corridor with him forever. At each at other's throats throughout time. Lazarus: "Is it such a large price to pay for the safety of two universes?"
Great job, Ace, I've really enjoyed this thread, and look forward to your Season Two thread.
