I was reasonably sure I would like these and could barely finish them:

Five Easy Pieces
Death to Smoochy
Mystic River
Alexander

About Schmidt - I mean look at the cover. Looks like it would be As Good as it Gets Pt. 2. Nope. Two hours of crap that includes Kathy Bates bare arse.

Watched both The Ring and The Grudge after all the hype. I was bored to tears both times.

Angels & Demons - my favorite book - one of the few movies where I seriously thought about walking out

I was so fricking excited about that movie and it ended up disappointing me so much. It wasn't a terrible movie, but it was average at best. I ended up hating it for getting my hopes up so badly.

The Breakup. I expected a hilarious comedy with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston. I was sorely disappointed.

The Breakup

This!

I was completely caught off guard by how depressing it was. Who thought it would be a great idea to film essentially a real breakup?

the Witch is a good one

Cabin in the Woods

Spy- I had heard how good it was and my wife and I agreed it was the worst movie we've seen in years
