Obviously....

While the police are collecting witness statements, one woman says "Daredevil saved us!" and she's corrected by another guy who explains that it was their friendly neighborhood Spider-man. Spidey is met with appraisal by the people of New York, and the title card appears.

Tony unexpectedly picks up Peter from the carnival, and the two discuss Toomes on the way home. Stark reveals that he doesn't trust Osborn, and not just because he leads a rival company. The Accords keep Tony from directly helping stop Toomes, but he he can indirectly help Peter. Peter asks for schematics on the Iron Man and Falcon suits, and Stark tells them they're a little to advanced for him. When he shows them to Peter on a holoprint, Peter blows Tony away by understanding the tech immediately and building Toomes's suit from scratch. On the drive home, Peter and Tony figure out how to create an anti-magnetic inverter to stop Toomes without killing him. Peter also discusses the difficulty of balancing his responsibility with living a normal teenage life. Right before he drops him off, Stark also reveals he saw Peter spill the spaghetti with Liz and gives him some advice on how to deal with women. When Peter asks what Tony looks for in a woman, Tony says redheads. Peter says it's a shame he doesn't know any

So basically Stark is going to be a part of every MCU going forward?

Infinity War is two years away. I'd guess that they'll keep Stark and Cap in view by having them show up wherever possible. Stark in Spider-Man, Cap in Black Panther... neither really fits in for a Doctor Stange cameo. Hulk is already the big extra in Thor 3.

So Liz Allen is the love interest. Is this a good thing?
Love the "redhead" comment.

Sounds pretty damn good. I like the mid credits scene.

There's that oversight everyone was talking about!

I think it's a smart way of doing it. This is like one of those comic crossovers Marvel would do where you had to buy different comics every month to get the whole story. I like how they have set it up to date. They really haven't made a dud, they are doing solid movies. No one else has ever been able to set up a movie universe like this and have so many chapters to the story.

That heavily borrows from one of the spectacular spider-man arcs if I remember correctly. Peter briefly dates Liz in that series, asks her to prom/homecoming, but they break up before and Aunt May sets him up on a date with Mary Jane to prom. The villain during that arc wasn't Vulture though.
I wouldn't put too much stock into it

Hopefully they can do Venom the right way if they ever go that direction.

Which Venom?
Eddie Brock, Mac Gargan, or Flash Thompson?

Any of them would be fine. Gargan could fit in if they do Thunderbolts. Flash would fit in especially since they have the Sokovia Accords (government oversight).

As long as they don't bring in Carnage. Carnage sucks balls

Sentry seems to think so.

You lost me
Eddie Brock was the original Venom. When he developed cancer, the symbiote rejected him and was given to Mac Gargan (Scorpion) when he was a member of the Thunderbolts.
Eventually it bonded to Flash Thompson after he lost both legs in Iraq and was a perfect bond. (Agent Venom is now one of the Guardians of the Galaxy)
