Have not seen the movies yet but looking forward to it!
They are all availabel on Netflix Instant.

They are decent enough movies. The girl playing Lisbeth is really good. Obviousy, they condense a lot of stuff.

I'm finishing up the Clockwork Century series by Cherie Priest.

Very interesting mix of Steampunk, Zombie, and Civil War fiction.

First book was good, but I did not like the second book. Author did everything to keep him as a poor college student. The main character could win the lottery and still not come out ahead.

Haven't read it yet but I have it on my kindle, going to read it when I go to the beach in a few weeks.

Wow, I liked Wise Man's Fear almost as much as the first and that is saying a lot considering Name of the Wind was my favorite since Storm of Swords.

Cormac McCarthy's boerderland trilogy.

If you want some history one of my favorites is 1066: year of the Conquest by David Howarth

The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. I describe it to people as Robin Hood meets Ocean's 11.

Agreed. Used to read this book with mom or dad all the time as a kid. My mom even painted the monsters above my crib when I was an infant.
