Some not new but "new to you" movies you've discovered recently? (possible spoilers)

Doesn't really matter how old but let's just say 2022 and backwards if we're going to make a rule
I guess I had a lucky movie watching week and found some that I thought were solid but not "new" movies. I won't post any spoilers in OP but put the disclaimer in the title in case anyone else does
The Outfit (2022) - Low budget looking film with some organized crime themes and I thought a pretty well thought out ending/twist. Thought the acting was sort of split. A couple of characters including the main character and narrator I thought were good but the other actors were almost B list quality.
The Imitation Game (2014) - I'd characterize this as the Alan Turing version of Oppenheimer. Drastically different films but sort of a biography of sorts about Alan Turing, a critical piece of WW2 history and the history of computing. Thought the acting overall was solid by most of the cast.
The Commuter (2018) - Liam Neeson is the main character and it's about the type of movie you would expect him to be type casted for during this stage of his career. I enjoyed it and thought there were some good twists

Came across this movie on the LG channel lineup a couple of nights ago. Had never heard of it prior. Pretty solid flick with an great cast.

Not Oscar material but the last two movies I watched on Netflix were pretty good.
The Feast of Seven Fishes (2018) - An Italian family in 1980s W. Virginia spends Christmas Eve preparing for the traditional feast. If you like small town 80s nostalgia, you might like this movie.
Love and Monsters (2020) - An apocalyptic action comedy. It was a fun movie, kid friendly with just a few "Oh sh*ts".

I finished up The Final Countdown (1980) last night on recommendation from this board. In fact, I need to find that thread and bump it.
It's pretty damn good. It's about an aircraft carrier that gets transported in time to December 6, 1941 (day before Pearl Harbor). The cinematography is fantastic. It's basically Top Gun six years before Top Gun. Definitely would recommend.

Remember the Night. It's a Barbara Stanwyck and Fred MacMurray movie written by Preston Sturges and directed by Mitchell Liesen. It was the last movie that Sturges wrote before he became a director. It's a Christmas movie with amazing photography. It's a very sweet movie, which is funny because Stanwyck and MacMurray also made the very dark Double Indemnity the same year.

this might not be quite what OP was looking for since it's a documentary, but i recently heard about a 1996 documentary on the rise of the Seattle music scene in the 80s and early 90s and it was super interesting. it's free on Prime (with ads). the name of it is "Hype!"
it's a weird mix of a nostalgic walk down memory lane for Gen Xers and us early millennials, but it's also a bit of a nostalgia buster when you realize how much of that scene was manufactured. still a great flick and worth watching if this topic interests you at all.
