So they're remaking Death Wish....

Bruce Willis is starring as the vigilante that Charles Bronson made famous in the 70s. And already there is a massive backlash to the trailer on social media. Not because it's a remake (which is more than enough reason to bash it). No...they're bashing it because they claim that it is alt-right propaganda.

I thought the remake sounded dumb until I heard an ELI Roth interview the other day. He was pretty fired up about the movie so I'll likely check it out

I'm not an SJW by any means. But the second half of the trailer really took me out of it. It went from a really gritty philosophical piece with action to a sudden revenge shoot-em-up without any thought behind it.
That said, I think the movie will be more like the first half of the trailer. I loved the therapist bit at the end. Maybe they cut it this way for the free buzz it would create.

I like Bruce Willis and remember Elizabeth Shue from Cocktail, the trailer looks good. I will view it as separate from Bronson.

Eli Roth movies suck and Bruce Willis has given lazy arse performances for at least 10 years now.
This will be a weak sauce attempt to cash in on the series name and the success of movies like Taken and John Wick.
