Terrible

Definitely one of the 3 worst movies I've ever paid to see.

As if the previews didn't look bad enough, the atrocious reviews on RottenTomatoes.com made me forget about even considering to see this movie. And I see movies for free.

I liked Funny People ok...but this one deserves all of the bad reviews it gets and more.

There really isn't a plot and the one-liners (75% of the movie) are just bad.

What do this and Funny People have in common other than Adam Sandler?

then your taste in movies sucks and your opinion is worth shite. funny people was terrible on all levels. grown ups is a funny family film and a much much funnier movie than 'funny people'

Whoa.

Funny People: Rotten Tomatoes - 68%, IMDB: 6.9

Grown Ups: Rotten Tomatoes - 10%, IMDB: 5.3

You may have your opinion of the two, and that's fine, but don't go telling people that their opinion is shite just because you disagree. If that's the way you see it, most people think your taste in movies sucks and your opinion is "worth shite."

I loved Funny People, even though it wasn't as well done as it could have been. I also understand why some people wouldn't like it. I'll add that I wouldn't take my kids to see this movie. (More often than not, Sandler comedies have stuff that I don't wnat my kids seeing)

I think I'll like Grown Ups, too, and can't wait to see it. Maybe this week.

No need for this much rage unless Shia Labouf is involved.

Lighten up Francis. Oh, it appears you are the one that is full of fail. Go back and watch Paul Blart for the 52nd time.

Not award winning, but I liked Mall Cop. I laugh at self-depricating humor.

My kids loved it. There's precious few non-Disney movies that are appropriate for kids these days.

Debbie Does Dallas was good when I was a kid, granted my dad drank and slapped hookers around but I turned out ok.

By today's standards, Debbie Does Dallas could be aired in prime time!

I saw Grown Ups over the weekend. Not a good movie but had one or two funny parts. I would not recommend it.

Wow. Not even gonna start.

I know this thread isn't about Funny People but has anyone else noticed it has great re-watch value on HBO. Eric Bana is effing hilarious in it.

I think one of the only reasons I was laughing was b/c my g/f was so miserable I wanted to prove her wrong that it was funny.

A fricking goober on a movie forum says my taste in movies sucks...and then goes on to give the best review of grown ups found on the interwebs.

What am I to do now???
Everything is ruined...
