Wasnt expecting much from it, didnt get much. If i was younger and still in the stoner/wasted all the time age, i would probably like it.

I'm sure it was tough staying up past your 7:30 bedtime to see it. I know old people get grumpy too if they don't get their 4:30 dinner on time.

You are correct, growing up and being responsible is dumb. The movie still sucks

Very funny, but very overrated. People on here slobbered all over it like it was the next Blazing Saddles. It had moments that had me rolling - mostly at the beginning. Then it devolved into a really bad end of days plot with a giant what I'm supposing was Satan whose cock swung back and forth like a pendulum. I mean, wow! That was just brilliant!!

Good enough to watch once, but I doubt I'll watch it again. It really has little to no direction, and while that may have been the point, it makes it boring.

Show me anyone who has ever come out of a comedy and said those words legitimately. Go ahead I'll wait.

Obviously a comedy, and one of the best. I have it in my top 5 with Superbad, Borat, Tropic Thunder, and ?.
I guess that mean it's in my top 4.

I thought it was pretty funny. It had enough funny moments for me to want to purchase it. I didn't have much expectation for it though.
I know I've said it before, but Craig Robinson with his Terrence Peterson light up monkey key chain was absolutely hilarious! His delivery of that line couldn't have been better. I laughed so hard I snorted. Then giggled all the way to the car.
And then I forced my husband to track one down for me.

Once again, people here can't just enjoy something for enjoyment sake. Everything has to be an Academy Award winner. It's a movie with Danny McBride, people! Get off your high horses!

McBride and Robinson killed it.

Movie had some terrible parts though.

Exactly. The movie is a comedy, nothing more. A comedy's purpose is to make you laugh. There are few movies that made me laugh harder.
ETA: ...and it doesn't surprise me in the least that so many here didn't like it. And that is as comical as the movie.

I thought it was great, and I'm not a particularly huge fan of anyone in the movie. It was basically what I thought it would be (bunch of famous friends dicking around and fricking with each other in the midst of the apocalypse). It delivered lots of laughs for me, and although the plot was obviously overly ridiculous, I enjoyed that.

There were some things that I didn't care for, but overall I thought it was really good.

Horrible movie, even as a casual popcorn flick. The only reason it was made is that they wanted to fog the greatness of The World's End, knowing they can't make anything nearly as good.

This is the end is based off a Rogen/Jay skit from 2007-08. Long before The Worlds End was even a twinkle in Peggs eye

And it was released before the worlds end as well

I laughed, but it shouldn't have been a movie. It should have been a youtube skit.

Yeah, one week before.

Wright and Pegg are so much better than these bozos. And they know it.
