I really liked the first season.

***SPOILERS***

I am not sure how the show will be without Danny. He was a great character and the guy playing him was excellent.

He really creeped me out. At first I didn't like him, then felt sorry for him, then got creeped, then hated him, then felt sorry for him.

I think the actor did a great job

He definitely stirred up a range of emotions throughout the series.

His interactions with his niece creeped me way the frick out though.

I liked it. I think they should have made it as a single season only though. Maybe they will suprise and have a great season 2 but I have my doubts. Danny carried the show.

Meg is a diabolical whore. Chloe Sevigny is a soulful babe.

Ok so we finished the show yesterday. Wow

First off, since they show Danny dying so early I kept trying to figure out how they would manage to recreate the scene and have it fit into the storyline. I have to say that was pretty impressive, especially how it led back to the drug trade being the death of Danny.

I am a tad bit confused on how the old fart/former detective knew what John/Kevin/Hot stuff did. Was he just assuming they were lying or does he have proof and how?

Obviously the next season will focus on the son, what information he has, and probably the family being in some hot water for covering up Danny's death. Interested to see how that comes to fruition. No way Danny sent anything to his son that proves John killed him except maybe a note saying he was meeting John that morning. Even still that wont prove much I dont think.

The mom pisses me off btw.

I think the each member of the family pisses me off at some point for their lack of character and moral strength.

I love the show and feel like I live there when I watch it.

Think we'll be seeing a healthy dose of Danny via flashback and visions (like the one's Danny was seeing of his deceased sister).

We just finished it yesterday. Great show. The actor playing Danny did a great job ~ I can't tell you how many times I wanted to throw the remote at the TV because of him.

I do have a question. Remember when John and Kevin went to Danny's apartment in Miami? Any idea who was watching them?

Think about what you said in the other thread. It was him that was watching, wearing his dads old shirt. Thats part of why him showing up was such a big reveal. He knows something, he saw them show up with all those bags.

I liked the show. It was really slow and I gave up at first. But it ended up being worth it.

One thing I don't understand is all of the stuff about the will. Wouldn't the father have just left everything to his wife? She could have had her will leave to who ever she wanted then. There just wouldn't have been any drama about it then..

No, not necessarily. From what we can tell, he had pretty good sized estate. Often times real property will be split among the sons/daughters especially when they are adults. Had John, Kevin and Meg all been much younger, my guess is he would have granted the mother a life estate, but directing the property to go to his children upon her death. All of this is of course speculation over a fake estate but the father was portrayed as an old fashioned family man so I think he obviously wanted his kids to have the property/business.

That makes sense and i get somethings going to the kids. But not the property, the home or money for her to live on. I would think that it was half hers anyway. But he was pretty old fashioned. So maybe you are right. The dad was kind of a douche..

She's fricking annoying. It's been months now since I've watched the show so I don't recall everything she did, but she was just a naive dumb arse that thought everyone still owed Danny even after all of his frick ups.

This was a great show but I am a little nervous about how it will be now that Danny is dead, the whole source of tension in the show was from him.

Also this show has taught me a valuable lesson
