I guess FX got away with saying frick on the air with The People vs O.J. Simpson so they're gonna keep doing it.

I was shocked at all the F bombs. Having said that, looks like it will be a good series.

This episode isn't as good as the pilot, but I would have expected a much bigger drop off if the series was going to be a flop.

I'm in. This was solid. Will give it a couple more episodes

Agreed. This episode was clearly meant to set up characters and storylines

They are definitely pushing the boundaries of TV on this show.
Not sure I like the way they are jumping around all over the place with the 3 different main characters but I guess they will tie it all together.
The parties out in LA must have been legendary back in the 80's.

Really like the show and concept, but its been all over the place, full of drug movie cliches we've seen for decades, and generally hard to follow. So far the only character that seems non-cliche and interesting is the Hispanic women drug dealer.

But I will still watch and enjoy.

Recently stumbled across the second show. Caught the pilot on replay. Looks really good.

The guy cast as the young black kid is very compelling.

As long as it doesn't stray too far into social politics I'm in for sure.

Uh....the show is advertised as being about "the early days of crack cocaine". That's about as social politics as it gets

Poor phrasing on my part.

I meant that I hope the show doesn't turn into some activist message about current social politics.

Ah, ok.

They seem to at least be focusing on the story of the characters so far. There is some of that shown in the background....but it's there for folks to make their own judgements on.

Last night's episode was pretty good. Hope the show keeps it up.
