for the last 8 years they weren't allowed to do any political comedy so that didn't help. Now they have trump and everyone who watches this unfunny bunch of shits wants to see them make fun of him.
On a side note, Ghostbusters was on Starz the other day so I finally gave in a tried to watch it and never even smirked. It was a fricking abortion of a movie. How that piece of shite was green lit and the actresses ever thought there was humor is amazing.

They weren't allowed to make fun of the president. Hilarious bits about the House Majority Leader's comments on H.R. 3701 probably weren't reeling in the masses outside of people who chug Democrat talking points koolaid.

I just did a google search to see if you are telling the truth. You aren't. A skit making fun of Obama being ineffectual and weak was the first thing that came up. Confirmation bias and an inability to handle criticism. That's you. It's very tempting to act like a victim isn't it?

I'm sure they've taken some mild soft jabs at Obama not being tough enough on Republicans. I didn't watch every week. The increased political content and one-sidedness is part of why I watched a ton less. The current Weekend Update guys do nothing but lecture and preach without even a pretense to comedy.

You can't compare Trump to Obama when it comes SNL. Trump is comedy gold, he has given 100x times more material in 6 months than Obama could in 8 years.

Probably because Tina Fey isn't head writer anymore and Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider have written some great skits lately. Bring the downvotes but I like Jost and Che as anchors. Kate McKinnon doing Hillary was hilarious as political skits go and Trump is an easy target.
