Is not even close to being the best show on TV. This season was awesome, but the two previous seasons absolutely sucked. This is the only season where I didn't become frustrated with the pacing.

It is more entertaining and I am not 12. Breaking Bad is so over rated.

Independence day is more 'entertaining' than Schindlers list, that doesn't make it a better movie... Unless you are a preteen

I haven't been impressed with WD since the first season, but for freak's sake, Breaking Bad was the most overrated and overhyped show ever.

I like season 2. It's slow, but it's interesting...it's just that everything, even with all of the action has been just as slow and boring.

Season 5 was just brilliant and it did a lot with the characters (some of it pretty nonsensical and stupid) but most importantly, things happened, and not really boring things

Seasons 3 and 4 just didn't have any suspense and when they did build to a moment, I pretty much didn't give a shite

No I like being able to appreciate subtlety and real character development instead of a plot that goes nowhere except for a cheap "OMG someone died" ploy every couple episodes

TWD does just enough the last 2-5 minutes of each episode to keep me coming back.

It is not anywhere near the level of Breaking Bad or Mad Men. Hell even after only 8 episodes I would put Better Call Saul above TWD.

That GoT not been brought up yet is very baffling to me. I really like Walking Dead and really enjoyed this season, but there are quite a few other shows that are hands down better, especially across all of television.

Not even close. One is a popcorn flick type show and the other is a great drama.

On top of that, TWD has the same story arc every season. Rick and them find a new place to live , a few people die, some misc drama amongst the group happens, then it all falls apart somehow. This season was better than the past two but it's still not as good as BB in that BB got better every season and ended on such a high note.

Nothing currently comes close to BB and The Wire as the two best drama series ever.

Season 4 was a repeat of season 3 which sucked balls

I do think this season was easily the best to date, and one of the better shows on tv, but the best? Nooooo

The Walking Dead is entertaining but very overrated. As are Breaking Bad and Mad Men.

I would agree. I think walking dead doesn't kill my suspension of disbelief since ithe very premise is about the dead rising from the grave, breaking bad I quit 2 seasons into. It was just so ridiculous and it constantly shattered my suspension of disbelief. No denying it was pure entertainment.

I know I am in a minority, but I think The Wire is overrated. The last season was pretty awful. Still a very good show, just not tGOAT. [I live in Baltimore, FWIW.]

Best thing I have seen since Breaking Bad was Fargo.

The Walking Dead does not enter this conversation. I watch if for cheap thrills (like Sons of Anarchy and Banshee). It's popularity far outpaces its quality (not uncommon).
