How many HBO series have you not already watched all the way through? Once you do that, you're down to waiting for the next season of Game of Thrones.
There are lots of currently running HBO shows.

But the same can be said for Netflix, really the only thing Netflix has going for it is shows you can binge. Once you've done that, theres nothing else on there but a terrible catolog of movies no one wants to watch.

Atleast HBO has a good catalogue to make it somewhat worth it

What does show time have?

My thoughts exactly.

Exactly, I've watched all the series and movies on HBO. Netflix offers a little more because they are bringing new content but a lot of it is complete shite. This is why I have everything HBOGO, Showtime Anywhere, Starz, Cinemax, Encore, Hulu, History, Amazon Prime etc.. I piggy back with all my fiends and vise versa because I need good content. I won't watch TV or a program just for the sake of turning it on.

Showtime has good series but lacks in movies. There are a few in the catalogue but it's not as deep as Cinimax.

Netflix adds new series to binge throughout the year. HBO is severely limited in the number of additional series.

True, but HBO has a ton of great series without a lot of the crap that Netflix has

Isn't HBO now only on Apple TV? That is such bs.

Between Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Now...I'm covered. That's $30/mo. Cable is for old people.

Hulu's commercials suck, though.

That doesn't work for sports junkies like myself, though.

I have both Showtime and HBO for 15$ via cox cable. Since I've gotten them I've been trending away from Netflix and Amazon Prime. Recently I've been watching a lot of HBO Go and Showtime on demand.
