Par for the course. That's the primary reason DC discussions get off track.

Just put a wig on "The Rock" and let him play the part, maybe that would make the OP happy

Yeah, because Gina Carano and the Rock look exactly alike.

Former WWE wrestler Victoria would've made a great WW years ago.

eh I look at this casting the same as I look at the new Joker.....instead of launching into a major bitch fest over the look of a character, why not wait and see how it plays out - you might find it isn't near as bad as your making it out to be.

but then again, this IS a message board, so knee jerking a reaction is par for the course.

I wasn't here when Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker, but I remember the backlash people had when Anne Hathaway was announced as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. Most of the haters/doubters were proven wrong when the film was released.

I don't know whether or not Gal Gadot will nail it as Wonder Woman, but I am not going to discount her just because she doesn't look like the comic book version of the character.

The movie is finished and in the can. There is no debate to be had about who SHOULD play WW. There can honest debate about who would be a better choice, but as much as I like Gina Carano she doesn't have the stature, physically or talent-wise to take on the role. WW is not from Philly and Miss Carano can't act her way out of a paper bag. I enjoyed Highwire, but it wasn't for her performance. The only other actress I've seen that physically fits the role is Megan Gale- who was cast in the Justice League movie from 2008, and I'm not sure she has the acting chops either. The only thing to do is wait and see.
