Short list of actors who could play Marvel's Spiderman.

Just hours after reporting that Sony Pictures and Marvel have narrowed down their choices to play the new Spider-Man, The Wrap has revealed which actors are in contention. The short list includes Nat Wolff, Asa Butterfield, Tom Holland, Timothée Chalamet and Liam James. Sony is expected to issue testing offers to several young actors next week, with a decision expected to come within the next two to three weeks, although it may take longer for the deal to become finalized.
