Yea Cuban is definitely one of my favs but Kevin has been rising up the more I watch him. I enjoy his ruthlessness when he sees a product that he despises and how he tells it how it is rather than falling into any of the sob stories. You can tell he is definitely a frugal investor that doesnt take too many unnecessary risks.

Cuban is worth more than all other 5 sharks combined.

Don't think the producers don't have a hand in this. They try and negotiate some deals before the person even gets to present in front of the sharks.

If I was ready to out a posters real identity you could hear it first hand from him/her.

This person went through the process. The producers listened to their pitch and then wanted 35% of the company for X amount of dollars. They refused and were not allowed to continue to the taped show in front of the actual sharks.

That's dumb, they have to give 35% of their company just to see the sharks? They're lying.

The producers tried to set up the deal for the sharks.

Got hooked on the show a couple of years ago and think it's great. I'm not a business person and never took a business class, but this show has taught me tons about starting and running a business. The 2 shows that stick out to me was the fella with the vest/jacket that you could run wires through for ear plugs, cell phones, ipods and such. I remember there was some type of controversy with him not wanting to mention the name of the product. Also he wouldn't shake Robert's hand. The other was the arse with the wine in a cup deal. I think he is the only person to be on the show twice.

IIRC the guy with the jacket has a multi million dollar company and didnt want to use his money but wanted money from the sharks and they wanted part of the main co.

the wine in the cup was Copa Di Vino and that guy was a smug dick.

What about it was fake? Technology wasn't that difficult. And the kids were total losers, so I believe they invented it.

I believe they invented it too. But the scenario seemed fake. Everything about the Shark's demeanor changed. It was almost like they were acting. It was waaaaaaay too fluid. Their facial expressions were forced. It even seemed like the kids were just reading lines.

Parts of this season have just seemed off to me. Like they're trying to fabricate interest by beefing up certain aspects or stories. These kids' invention making it's way to the White House would certainly make for a sweet episode.

Honestly though, something was weird about that segment.

I wish I could describe it better. All I know is I was watching from the start and when that part started I instant thought to myself "woah woah woah!! Something isn't right."

Every single one of their moods was completely changed. shite was fake I tell ya!

Cuban is a genius. The other sharks are all good except for Kevin. His schtick gets old fast. He is rude just to be rude and his offers are almost always offensive. Every other shark seems genuinely interested in the show and what it stands for but Kevin only cares about self promotion.
