I couldn’t find a thread. Anyone watching? Third episode dropped today. I’m hooked.

Basic premise is people work at a company where they have an operation that makes them forget everything about their outside life at work and Vice versa when they leave work. Created by Ben Stiller I believe.

Wife and I started the first two. She gave up but I'm still interested in it. Thanks for the reminder I need to catch up tonight. I really like the idea of it. Ben Stiller said he had to mess up Adam's hair in the show because it was too perfect

First episode was pretty cool. NGL was kinda hoping this was going to tell me Hell is just a bureaucratic corporation

I'm in for the reveal of what sort of data they are sorting.

Have enjoyed it so far. Haven't seen Ep. 3 yet. Thanks for the reminder.

ETA: Caught the new one. This is really good so far. Favorite new show in a while.

This is my favorite new show since The Leftovers and Season 1 Westworld. What a fantastic show.
That 4th episode was intense.

I have a hunch. Helle’s outie told her she was not real. I don’t think the office exists. They are being put in a matrix every day.

John Turturro is really good in this. The scenes with he and Walken is weirdness turned up to 11.

My initial thoughts are that they're not doing anything, and are perhaps themselves a part of a controlled experiment.

We're being led to believe (so far) that it's nefarious, but it could just be a way to observe the test subjects, like lab rats in a maze.

The isolation from other "employees" and constant positive/negative reinforcement would also fit.

I had a similar theory, that the data they’re sorting correlates to their own experience. The rat/maze parallel seems to fit given the maze like structure of the floor.

Just caught up. Jelly reminds me of the actress who played Cersei so much. Like a mix of her and Joan from Breaking Bad.

I don't think any of the people in the MDR department are doing any actual work. Like others in this thread have said, they are like rats in an experiment. I think they are all dealing with trauma in the outside world and they are being treated like lab rats for some type of experiment.

Only four episodes have been released, but as of now I’d say yes, assuming you’re a fan of this genre.

The first episode is pretty representative, so IMO you should know rather quickly whether you like it or not.

Just caught the 5th, really coming around on this show. No surprise people who like leftovers or westworld would dig this.
