What's up with that weird couple from the birthing cottages?

I think the wife is severed and the husband controls her “innie and outtie”.. she seemed to have no clue who Mark’s sister was at the park.

Watched six episodes. Gave up. Pointless and I don’t like Adam Scott and the chick. Didn’t care about the characters at all.

Hope some of you enjoy it. We didn’t.

Ok, check this out.

Go see Lumon’s LinkedIn page.
LinkedIn Lumon In(dust)ries

Then go to Apple Books and read Severance: The Lexington Letter. (It’s free)

Cool stuff.

I struggled the first episode or two then I came around

Surprisingly I like Adam Scott here and I don't like him in anything else

On the last page of the emails it shows:
Jim Milichik, Editor

Hmm? Didn’t think the story was worth pursuing? Hmm?

Related Milichik? Same Milichik?

Good catch. With that being such an odd surname, it has to be intentional.

I believe you're on track with your thinking.

The closet scene was crazy

That was incredibly disturbing.

During that scene, in my head I envisioned that Milchick just showed up at his house, explained he needed something for work, and initiated the retrieval.

Now that I'm ruminating on it, I'm starting to think Milchick is this guy's "Mrs. Selvig," another fictional character that has been monitoring him for a while, and is already a part of his outtie's (and son's) life.

If that is the case, he probably got him in the closet on a false pretense, then called in the swap—which, by the way, they somehow accomplished remotely (away from the Lumon elevator).

I don't think so. He probably did orientation and the procedure with Milchick, like Helly did.

After Milchick snapped him back, he was cordial and asked if they were done. Sure seemed like his outie knew who Milchick was and that he needed to access his innie for something work related.

Ahh, yeah. Didn't think about that.

You may be right.

Been thinking about this. What if Petey’s issues were because they were trying to remote activate his innie? They may be the reason he died. He might should have ran far away.

Ok, this show is nuts. Every week my brain is just turned around.

Just one thing I can’t get out of my head now. What if that was Petey’s innie?

Before he moved his finger, did anybody else think it was going to be Helly?

I did for a split second but then remembered Mark's outie had seen Helly's outie in the parking lot in the first episode.
